Easter is just around the corner, so I thought it was a perfect time to share this card using the Easter Message stamp set. The absolute beauty is, is that you can change up the design so easily, yet keeping it elegant. I have done this card at a few different workshops lately. Some ladies have been so creative! I LOVE it. For this particular card I used Very Vanilla, and Early Espresso cardstock. The image from Easter Greetings was stamped using Early Espresso ink, and was stamped onto Watercolor Paper. I then used an Aqua Painter to fill in the cross and the cloth. You can make images as dark or as light as you wish. I used the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the cross. The background on the main part of the card was also inked using Early Espresso ink. On the lilies I actually used Dazzling Diamonds. I tried the Clear Wink of Stella, but it didn’t add enough “pop” for me. The greeting is also from Easter Messages Stamp set. I adhered the image to a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock, and then used dimensionals to pop up from the main card. Different variations could include stamping the lilies more to the bottom of the main card, or I had some ladies not even stamp the lilies at all, just leaving it blank. You could used Wink of Stella on the cloth, instead of the cross. Then of course, the colouring is your choice. By using the Aqua Painter you can make any of the images, as dark or as light as you like.
