Flirty Flowers

Cased this right from the 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up Idea Book & Catalogue

The first time I go through my catalogue, I used post it notes to mark cards that stand right out to me. I don’t even look at the stamp sets, I’m like a kid and look at the pictures. That’s usually how I decide what stamp sets I want first. Then I go through it a hundred more times over the year and always see something I didn’t see before!

The sample  today is totally cased out of the catalogue, page 25 using the Flirty Flowers stamp set.. It was just so simple, I loved it. The strip of green going down the right side of the card is Color Theory Designer Series Paper. This paper pack is so versatile, that I bet I end up using it all. The images are stamped directly onto cardstock and coloured using blender pens. One flower was stamped and coloured on a scrap, then cut out and popped up using a dimensional. Isn’t it lovely? Tomorrow I will show you my very own sample using the same stamp set, and the eclipse technique. BUT the eclipse technique is NOT using letters!!
